Set Up Your Products
Add your organic products with clear descriptions and high-quality images so customers can discover and trust your listings.
A great product listing converts browsers into buyers. Provide a descriptive title, meaningful description, high-quality photos, accurate pricing, and clear shipping information. Below is a practical checklist and step-by-step guidance for creating listings optimized for live selling.
- Use at least 3–5 high-resolution images (1024x1024 recommended). Include:
- Primary product photo on white or neutral background
- Close-ups showing texture, labels, or ingredients
- Context shots (product in use / packaged)
- Packaging or certification badges (organic, fair-trade)
- Image tips:
- Avoid heavy filters — show true colors
- Keep the product centered and well-lit
- Provide one image with scale (hand or common object)
- Add descriptive alt text for accessibility
- Video (optional): short demo clips increase conversion — add a 15–30s clip highlighting benefits.
Product Title
Keep it concise and descriptive: Brand + Product + Key attributes (e.g. "GreenFarm Organic Turmeric Powder 200g").
Description
Write a clear, benefit-focused description. Structure it with:
- Short summary (one or two sentences)
- Key features / ingredients (bullet list)
- How to use / storage instructions
- Certifications and sourcing information
Metadata & SEO
Add categories, tags, and search keywords to improve discoverability. Use relevant attributes like "organic", "fair-trade", "cold-pressed", etc.
- Price: Set a clear retail price and a sale price (if applicable). Be transparent about unit pricing (e.g., price per 100g).
- Inventory: Track stock counts. If an item is limited, mark it as low stock to create urgency during live sessions.
- Variants: Add variant options (size, weight, flavor). Provide separate images and SKUs per variant when possible.
Clearly state shipping options, estimated delivery times, and any shipping fees. For perishable organic items, include handling and temperature guidance if needed.
Add a short returns policy: return window, who pays for return shipping, and condition requirements.
- Title includes brand + product + size/weight
- Description highlights benefits, ingredients, and usage
- At least 3 high-quality images + alt text for each
- Price and inventory set
- Shipping options and return policy configured
- Appropriate categories, tags, and keywords added
- Any certifications (organic, non-GMO) included in images/description
Example alt texts:
- "GreenFarm organic turmeric powder 200g jar, front label"
- "Turmeric powder close-up showing texture and color"
- "Turmeric powder used in a smoothie bowl — serving suggestion"
- Highlight unique selling points (small-batch, organic certification, local sourcing).
- Use short bullet lists to make benefits scannable during live streams.
- Offer bundles or limited-time discounts to drive purchases during the stream.
- Update inventory before a live session to avoid overselling.
